It is unfortunate with all the other work that has gone into the site and board so far, that we have not begun yet to present all we have on the Coptic Monks and the Holy Family in Egypt.

We have stayed with the Monks many times. They have been our hosts and watchers in the desert.
It is impossible to find words to describe their open warmth and hospitality.
They led to many adventures and wisdoms which deserve a place before others.
Theirs is a heritage dating back to the time of exile spent by Jesus in Egypt.

The Coptics knew savage persecution under the Romans and suffer unjust persecutions even today.
Egypt and the desert are filled with the evidence of their past and present.
There are wonderous sites where they lived and where the infant Jesus stayed with his family.
Miracles happened and still happen in these places.

To visit them or simply the desert, is like standing in the presence of a miracle.

In due course we will do them justice and show truly remarkable pictures of their life and our adventures; and at the same time introduce their legacy in the places of their world, and the Holy Family Route itself.
