I listened to the show while working today. I hadn't realized that there
was a tv show before. But it was a great interview by George of his
parents, for the most part, but they played a short interview with the
11 year old that was pre-recorded before his bedtime.

Most impressive to me was when they took him to a reunion of the fighter
pilots in 2002...men in their 80's now. And one of the men came over and
leaned down to him and asked him if he knew what his name was. The boy
said Ed Greenwald or something like that...and that was correct. But
knowing that the man in his eighties didn't look anything like he did in
his 20's, they asked the boy how he knew. He said he remembered the
voice. And the parents admitted that the boy was shocked and saddened to
see that his former comrades were so old and wouldn't be around much longer.

He also corrected his mother when he was a wee tot and she showed him a
plastic airplane with a 'bomb' on the bottom. He immediately told her it
was not a bomb...it was a 'dwop tank'. (drop tanks carry fuel to help
get near to the mission target and then are dropped/jettisoned to reduce
weight and drag for combat speed, maneuverability, and extended range)

This case was about as close to proving reincarnation that we're gonna
get, I think. And during the call-in phase in the last hour many people
called in with similar stories of their own remembrances.

Finally, I had sent the story to several ol' flyin' buddies yesterday,
and the retired full bird Colonel who was my flight commander and later
commanded the largest Wing of fighter aircraft in the world called me
last night to talk about reincarnation and such. We talked for an hour
and a half and he told me that he knew the first time he saw an airplane
as a child...that he could fly it.

We also talked about soul groups and families that reincarnate together,
and that our friendships cross aeons and continue through eternity. And
I reminded him that, after I got out of the military, and had started
meditating on my lunch hour while working in Houston, I was suddenly
transported to a time when we were both native Americans and he was the
young chief of the small band of maybe 40 people...in the area of
northern Utah, I think. I also reminded him that he chose as his final
retirement home, to locate in a place called Lake Kiowa, up by Dallas.

He is an amazing man. He fell 16 feet off a ladder that slipped and
landed on the concrete driveway early this year...at 74. Nothing was
broken but his old 'football knee' was re-damaged, causing him to walk
with a painful limp. He was scheduled for surgery but just before the
surgery it quit hurting and he could walk without a limp. Turned out he
didn't need the surgery. And, of course, he has his own fully-acrobatic
airplane in the hangar near his house.

At any rate, I was very honored that he wanted to talk with me about all
these things.
